Curr’a caddu

Tue curres su caddu prus bellu, ki mai apa bidu
Pesas seixi bias, una o duas, cun ojos birdes de fera
E curres gai bene a caddu, luxent sas manos a su tocu
Mai apo a pòder bènner, no importat cantu lu keria

Curr’a caddu, adiosu, mai apo a pòder bènner,
No importat cantu lu keria.
Curr’a caddu, adiosu, mai apo a pòder bènner,
No importat cantu lu keria.

Cando currijas intr’e note, kene lassar’ormina,
Colami s’isprone in sa ‘entre, un’urtima borta,
Giro sa cara a logu bòidu, ue ti dormias,
E chirc’un’ischintidda, chi luxet iscuru,
Rugrat una lagrima in s’oju meu.

Curr’a caddu, adiosu, mai apo a pòder bènner
No importat cantu lu keria.
Curr’a caddu, adiosu, mai apo a pòder bènner
No importat cantu lu keria.

Ride on

True you ride the finest horse I have ever seen
Standing sixteen, one or two, with eyes wild and green
And you ride the horse so well, hands light to the touch
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to

Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to
Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to

When you ride into the night without a trace behind
Run your claw along my gut, one last time
I turn to face an empty space, where once you used to lie
And look for a spark that lights the dark
Through a teardrop in my eye

Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to
Ride on, see you, I could never go with you
No matter how I wanted to
